Rise

This song features beautiful flamenco guitar work by Fritz Heede, as well as ethnic flutes by Suzanne Teng, and ethnic percussion by Gilbert Levy. In the vocal improvisation section, I am doing some high-pitched occipital singing (no, that's not the flute!).
The lyrics of this song were inspired by Joni Mitchell's song "Down To You", where she says, "Constant stranger, you're a brute, you're an angel, you can crawl, but you can fly too, it all comes down to you." I am hoping that my version inspires people to fly higher!
