Clinchfield Mountain Rail is an original song written by
Barry Long about the Clinchfield Railroad. The Railroad operated from 1902 to 1983 and traveled thru 5 states, Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. The train was not just known for it's steam
engines but the difficult travel thru the Appalachian
