End Times is a swirl of mystical, psychedelic, religious babel heavily based on dreams. The narrator is, in fact, describing scenes from dreams, describing them in symbolic dream language. He seems to have no alignment with good or evil, with god or devil. Those two adversaries just make appearances in the song, as do several mythical and symbolic characters, including a werewolf, a "hag, nymph, and bawd," an "anime sex angel," and the goddess. Whatever the hell is going on, it piques your curiosity. And it must be "end times" because "what used to be normal, now seems so odd."
