Neville's Quarter - Rose Quartz and Serenity
Rose Quartz & Serenity
Written by Lex Headley

Rose, be as still as the quartz in your hand
The blue’s coming
Still as the moon, ceaseless ripples on your forehead
Turn troubled waters into stone
Sparkle and cease, rose.
Be still, be still
Oh, we have the heart
But feel cool to the touch

Cuz we are balance
We are two shades in one
Call me blue and call her pink, but
Together, oh, together we are Rose Quartz and Serenity
Rose Quartz and Serenity
A silent riot for the dawn
Say what you will, but we’ll only be still
Soft and still

Rose, be as still as the quartz in your hand
The blue’s near
So you laugh away tears
Unlike candy that melts when it’s kissed
Your sweetness can harbor thousands of years
Sparkle and cease, rose.
Be still, be still

Serenity, I am sound waves harbored in blue, I’m permanent Liquid, an ocean’s tattoo
I freeze into order and peace
Sparkle and cease
Oh, we have the heart
But feel cool, cool, cool

And we are balance
We are two shades in one;
Call me blue and call her pink but
Together, oh, together we are Rose Quartz and Serenity
Rose Quartz and Serenity
A silent riot for the dawn
For when it breaks
You’ll need to be
Soft and still
