Drink Myself Sober
Drink Myself Sober
If you’re ever in the desert, won’t you look for my camel?
She’ll take you to my palace that I built with my hammer
The stones alone were quite an endeavor
And despite bad weather, she will last - forever
I’ve got orchards of oranges; I squeeze them every morning
Fight off your scurvy and cure you of boredom
Gardens hanging where peacocks gather
Angels swing and mermaids lather - together
If I could drink myself sober, I’d be over,
But there’s bears on edge in town
They’re waiting on me and all that’s left you see
Is wrong since you put me down
Cool blue water at our bedside
Wildflowers tower too
If anyone could calm this storm, it’s you
