This is a medley of songs by Memphis Blues icon, Furry Lewis. This melody was used on a few of Furry's great tunes including 1920's recordings and a postwar reimagining called "When My Baby Left Me." I first learned and arranged this version on my 1890 Buckbee banjo, but in honor of the originator, I recorded it on my war time Gibson J-45 guitar. No one could tell a story that you believed quite lile Furry. I did my best to do the same.
