Adieu False Heart
7. Adieu False Heart[b/] 2:53

This unique "Old- Time" Country tune is defined by its crooked and vaguely cajun melody, and existentialist poetry about a love gone wrong. Fiddlin' Arthur Smith, an early Opry regular recorded this tune in 1936 with his trio. The original recording features guitar, vocals, and two fiddles, (each fiddle playing the same melodic line.) I play it hear in an open tuning on 12 string guitar. Minamalism is key.
