High Water

Based on two true stories of immigration gone wrong for the skilled and the unskilled that wanted to make a new life here in America. Randy Hanson and MohaviSoul spins vignettes of these stories combined with hope for a better tomorrow and recognition that most of us are immigrants or from immigrant roots and hope of a better life, and living on the Frontera while working on the many water problems that we share with our Mexico neighbors. Our 6/8 Norteña flavored melody blends Martha Cather’s great accordion playing intertwined with Dan Sankey’s haunting fiddle and Jason Weiss’s syncopated banjo melodies.
