Shadow On The Sun (Title Track)

It’s turning twilight in the middle of the day.
People spellbound, dumbfounded, nothing to say.
They stare up at the light, then it’s gone.
There’s a shadow on the sun.
There’s a shadow on the sun.

Little crescents dance across the ground.
The silence deafens- the songbirds make no sound.
There’s no escape - nowhere to run.
There’s a shadow on the sun.

Bolts of darkness stab me in the back.
Greens and blues fade to grays and blacks.
The leaves are still as a lifeless heart.
White clouds vanish into the dark.

People hoping there’s some truth left to find.
There just groping the whole world’s gone blind.
They live in fear of what’s to come.
There’s a shadow on the sun.
There’s a shadow on the sun.
There’s a shadow on the sun.
There’s a shadow on the sun.
