GoodNite ToNite (Featured Track) 3:43 The Title Cut. A song about a crossroads. Time to be honest. Time to be real. The time is now. "GoodNite ToNite" has a really dynamic feel to me. The Build and anticipation make it fun.
Pickup Truck (Featured Track) 4:07
A rural anthem extolling the virtues of Down Home. My buddy, Brad Edwards' lead guitar work is electrifying! No pun intended. The interplay between the guitar and the fiddle sharing the spotlight makes this song a dynamite listen!
Sunshine Day 2:58
This cut #1 is an unabashedly positive song about enjoying the day for all it is worth. The joy of a day off. The peace and serenity of nature. Sharing a cup of coffee in the yard with your baby. Molly Healy's fiddle just lights up this song!
Tears On Your Pillow 3:05
A wistful, soulful ballad about loss and consequences. This song has a few years on it. It had gradually disappeared from our live set list. When a longtime friend suggested this tune for a virtual concert, it was like meeting an old friend again. It is, personally, my favorite song on the album.
Down At The Bridge 3:07
A bouncing tale of growing up in a small town. At least partly growing up. The sweet freedom and unbridled optimism of youth - Down at the Bridge.
Too Much Month 2:49
If you have such a thing as Ozark Zydeco Blues this is it. Percussionist Ray Spiller has really got the groove going on!
Summer Rain 3:33
A smooth and poignant look back at a lifetime. I am proud to be a Missouri Arts Council Touring Performer. There is nothing more Missouri than a summer rain.
Beautiful 3:21
A heartfelt love song about a lifelong love. The beautiful kind. The lyrics take you from the awkwardness of youth to the culmination of a life well spent - together.
Colorado 3:17
A diorama of majestic mountain peaks, wildflowers in Aspen, starry high desert midnights and music among the Red Rocks. This tune is a soothing synopsis of a magical place - Colorado.
Jezebel 3:08
A rocking, bluesy country tale of a man who has his priorities straight and the woman who keeps them that way. An uptempo celebration of good decisions.
One More Dance 2:37
The lush accompaniment gives this love song a perfect slow dance ambience. The best dances are the ones you never want to let go of.
No Fairytale 3:14
A good dose of honesty and integrity in a little pop country package. Tell it like it is. Live it like it is.
