I wrote this song after being driven to the airport during morning rush hour and looking into people commuting. So many of them looked sad and desperate. It made me recall a time in my own experience when i had to commute two hours each way to a very difficult job. Maybe it is a bit judgemental, that probably comes from my own fear of having to return to that reality.
