Poetry for “Eclipse the Night”

She was free
Wandering in the night
Guided only by instinct
Powerful and bright

Alone amongst the stars
The ancient and eternal
Forever here to rule
In her dominion and her circle

Until one day he came
A stranger in the night
Somewhat unexpected
But not without delight

His darkness filled her light
With balance and control
She had found a companion
With whom to share her soul

Now they ruled as one
Traveling together into the night
Instinct guided by wisdom
In balance and clear sight

Until he left again
A cycle familiar and sincere
She would be alone once more
Incomplete without him here
