The Gentleness of God

Although He knows all my mistakes
I see His mercy every day
He loves me even though I’ve strayed

And on the days I struggle most
I know that I am not alone
And He is always there when I stop and pray

the gentleness of God I praise
His hands so strong yet so full of His grace
So lovingly He carries me through each day
The gentleness x the gentleness of God I praise

And on the days when life is hard
His is my candle in the dark
His is my strength and the song within my heart

As a Father to His child
He is to those who reconcile
His strong embrace will not be broken or betrayed
