Set'em Up Joe
Some songs are HUGE parts of country music history. This is one of those songs and it just so happens that it was written by my Daddy and some of his best friends. I love singing it because it takes me back to the days of me and Daddy and Vern Gosdin sitting around our kitchen table in Kingston Springs, TN and singing for hours on end!! Those were the days!!

They’ve got a vintage Victrola 1951
Full of my favorite records that I grew up on
They’ve got ol’ Hank and Lefty, and there’s B-24
Set ‘em up Joe and play “Walkin’ The Floor”
Set ‘em up Joe and play “Walkin’ The Floor”

Chorus:
I’m gonna spend the night like every night before
Playin’ E.T., I’m gonna play it some more
I gotta have a shot of them ol’ troubadours
Set ‘em up Joe and play “Walkin’ The Floor”
Set ‘em up Joe and play “Walkin’ The Floor”

Well, all my neon neighbors, they like what I play
‘Cause they’ve heard it every night
Since you walked away
Well, every day they replace that ol’ B-24
‘Cause every night I run a needle through
“Walkin’ The Floor”
Yeah, every night I run a needle through
“Walkin’ The Floor”

Repeat Chorus Twice

I said set ‘em up Joe and play “Walkin’ The Floor”
Set ‘em up Joe and play “Walkin’ The Floor”
