Tolkien's Fever
Hey ho through the forest I'll go
To take this gold left long ago
Water will run and the trees will grow
And many miles I've still to go.

Smoke and flame from fire bright
Warm my heart and bones tonight
When evil creeps along the road
And sit and stare three trolls of stone
Take me back, back to the days
When gardens grew and children played
Upon the hills of red and green
Where glitter and gold was never seen.

When evil slept and goodness reigned
Before this trinket around this chain
There lived a Queen so strong and pure
Across the lands the peace endured
But soon there came a darker day
The Good Queen did the Dark Lord Slay
Now all along this road I run
What's come to be must be undone.
