McKenna Esteb is an emerging musical force in Boise, ID, known for her diverse repertoire that
spans ballads, feminist anthems, soulful love songs, and indie pop/rock. A skilled songwriter and storyteller, Esteb creates a space for vulnerability and emotional resonance. Her first single from her ‘Home Safe’ album,

‘So Pretty’ has garnered global attention, amassing over 138,399 streams. Esteb and her band have successfully performed at the Treefort Music Festival, Flipside Music Festival, and have opened for nationally touring artists such as Baby Jake, The Suffers, Dark Dazey, and Krooked Kings.

As the winner of the $10,000 2024 Light Of Day Grant, she has used her winnings to take her band on their very first tour to showcase their debut album, Home Safe. Following her PNW April tour, Esteb is excited to expand her music to San Francisco, LA, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City for her second tour.

"Home Safe" began to take shape last winter, marking a transformative period in her musical
journey. She independently composed all the music, exploring instrumentation and production to define her unique sound. The album authentically reflects her experiences over the past year, including being queer in Idaho, navigating failed hook-ups, embracing an era of healing, falling in love, grappling with fears of failure, and dealing with anxiety through escapism. It's a raw exploration of her personal journey, laid bare in her music.
