Biography
Marmalade originally came from Glasgow in Scotland before moving to England when they got their first record deal with CBS. Success came in 1968 with 'Loving Thing', 'Wait For Me Marianne', and 'Baby Make It Soon'. Then came the Marmalade anthem , an opportunist cover of the Beatles song 'Ob La Di Ob La Da'. The Beatles never released this as a single in the UK once Marmalade went to #1.

Marmalade then moved to Decca Records and had the first #1 Pop Group hit of 1970 with 'Reflections Of My Life'. Also their first hit in the USA. Further hits continued with 'Cousin Norman', 'Back on the Road', and 'Radancer'. Then after another couple years touring they had another UK and USA hit with 'Falling Apart at The Seams'. The band have continued to tour ever since filling venues, theatres, concerts, and Festivals. Although they had big hits in the USA they have never appeared in the USA. This is about to change with a tour being organised for early 2011. Marmalade have done for Scotland, what The Beatles did for England. Put their native country on the worlds musical map.
