One More Time
ONE MORE TIME
Words and music written by Marc Corey Lee

I’ve been wandering lately down the hallways of my mind
Searching for moments long gone by
And dusty memories left behind

I remember barely breathing 27 years ago
When you reached out to touch me as I tuned the radio
And gold rained down around us from the California sun
And the old songs played
One more time

I’m in the backseat and I’m 5 years old
We’re all out for a summer ride
Daydream of spacemen and flying machines
Watching all the cars go by

The children and the flowers danced around us everyday
With peace signs and soldiers dying some place far away
‘Leaving on a Jet Plane’ was the song that they all sang
And the sun went down
One more time

When I look into the mirror now
I don’t recognize the face somehow
How did a hundred years go by anyway?
Can I get it all back and hold on to each moment
Just one more time
