Joe wrote this catchy pop song just before the pandemic. Bluegrass guitar and Venezuelan cuatro is a pairing that Larry & Joe had been meaning to explore, and this R&B infused piece proved the perfect opportunity to try it out. Once recorded, Joe added a splash of flat-picked banjo, which remitted back to Irish folk music. Then Larry suggested inviting a renowned Irish bodhran player they’d met at a music conference (Folk Alliance). Dermot Sheedy accepted the offer and delivered hard! Then the only thing left was to once again get Nelson Echandía to bring his electric bass magic. Contains “damn”
