Joe promised his grandma Ruth many years ago that one day he would work up a version of this song, her favorite tango. After spending a decade living in Buenos Aires, Argentina he pioneered techniques to play such music on the banjo and finally worked up an arrangement. Larry delivered some beautiful bass lines and bolero style harmony vocals, and then Joe recruited one of his favorite musical companions, Buenos Aires native Mati Mormandi to add some melodica. Now 99 years young, Grandma Ruth has heard the track and greatly approves.
