I get up out of bed
Stumble round, head down stairs

The dogs go out
The waters on
I go about my daily chores

Oh too many times
I have had to find the state of mind
To pull myself right up off the floor
Now I’m feeling tired and sore
There’s not much left in store

On the road
My day’s begun
Even though I’m really good at what I do

The same old thing
But we all like a little taste of something new
Whatever comes
I’ll be prepared
