Little Lives - Casey Penn
We all wish big we all work hard
To find success to leave our mark
Sometimes we lose sometimes we win
The middle is where we begin and end
The road is long the climb is tough
Sometimes we fall and get back up
That’s what this life is all about
If you live long enough to figure out
There are lots of little housed
Full of little dreams
Dreamed by little families
With little plans and schemes
As long as there is love enough
And most of it survives
There are no little people
There are no little lives
Sometimes it’s true we only see
All the things we’ll never be
We shake our heads then wonder why
We’re trapped inside our little lives
But we might have been an angel yesterday
When our little act of kindness
Helped some stranger on his way
Someday we will reap the blessings that we earn
And hopefully remember a lesson to be learned
There are lots of little housed
Full of little dreams
Dreamed by little families
With little plans and schemes
As long as there is love enough
And most of it survives
There are no little people
There are no little lives
As long as there is love enough
And most of it survives
There are no little people
There are no little lives
