The Megadon Exclusive Album Review
“In this Album: “The Megadon” aka Don O. definitely showcases his multiple abilities!” “With more hits than Jay-Z, with beats better than Kanye and more talent than Diddy!”
1. In the Introduction – the music tiptoes into your ears in perfect harmony as it brings you to the ocean… You feel like you are walking up the stairs of a lavish cruise liner about to sail the world with the one and only MegaDon O.!
2. In “If you want me” – The Megadon confirms that one needs to: “Hustle all day until the money comes.” He questions: “How you talking big plans with minimum funds?” Don O. confesses: “If you want me stay I got to get paid - on the hustle and grind, I’m trying to get it and shine and I ain’t got time to waste!”
3. In “By my side” – Don O. compares relationships to wine: “It’s like fine wine – getting better with time.” He gives a time frame of history with the line: “We go way back like Cadillac!” “You know your boy don’t talk about it – Baby I live it!”
Don O. asks permission: “Let me be your King!” What a gentleman.
4. In “Not the Real” – The chorus and the melody just make you want to jump in the water and float – the word “bullshit” never sounded so smooth against the waves…
5. In “Don Story” – The beat brings back your memory. If you ever had amnesia – this is the cure! The song starts out with: “This is true confessions of a boss…” Don O. continues: “I’m about to feed you, but it ain’t no happy meal.” I guess we don’t get a toy with this one. The hook is some wonderful advice: “Never bite the hand that feeds ya – fake friends they might mislead ya – cross the line ‘cause they really want to be ya.”
6. In “Pips Skit” – We get a taste of true comedy with a touch of realism.
7. In “Step It Up” – The beat just makes you smile. This is definitely a feel good melody. A very inspirational song by the Don broke down into 3 verses.
He states: “Be independent and learn how to slow down.” The Don let’s us know the quality of life in: “There is better things in life than money and sex – step ya game up and get your mind right!” “It’s not about what you say – it’s what you do.” The Don let’s you know where you need to be in the line: “You should want to be ahead of the game.”
8. In “Miss Lady” - The music brings you to a place where you feel like you just won a lot of money. At least that’s what I felt when I heard the beat.
The Don states his addiction in: “You’re my sweet thang and I can’t get enough.” He continues in the line: “You feed me with the right stuff that I need.” The Don states: “Miss Lady you know you stole my heart.” Now that’s a robbery that went smooth!
9. In “Money Come 2 Me” – The Megadon confirms: “I got that boomerang money – watch it come back.”
10. In “Sweet Thang” – The beat takes you back to that “first love.” Whatever or whoever your first love was – you just can’t help but to think about it or that special person in this song. Don O. states: “Number 1 lover - my heart belongs to you only.”
11. In “Go” – The beat makes you want to get up and dance to it. The Megadon says: “There are times in life – it seems so serious, but don’t let that stop you – no - Let’s go.” Isn’t that inspiration!
12. “Love you so much” – is a more personal piece by the Don. He gives you a taste of his heart in this song.
13. In “Get Money” – Whatever your hustle is, if you were on pause when you heard this – then your play button just became active!
The Don demands: “I ain’t tell you to stop yet – so get money!” He clarifies: “What you put in – you better get it right back!” Then the Megadon gives you a wall street tip: “Invest in your own self!”
14. In “Bubble Gum” – The 2-step, what’s that? We need to learn the Bubble Gum dance! In Bubble Gum - you know what the song is referring to, but the lyrics were crafted in a way that gives the song a refreshing feel.
There are 3 bonus tracks that you just would have to go and get
“The Megadon” album yourself to hear them.
This is definitely a cruise I’ll take many more times!
The album was as “Mega” as the title itself!
