Biography

Luke Keating grew up on the South side of Dublin, playing in the local hot spots like The International Bar and Bruxcelles at age 20, where local talents such as Damien Rice and Paddy Casey called home. Playing the covers circuit was tiring after a short time and Luke Keating wanted more from his career, so he went back to school to study music and theory. Writing a mass of unrecorded songs, he found his incredible artists in The Epics, and formed his five Piece Rock act from Dublin. Luke & The epics debut E.P "Reload" was released 24/06/14 by CBM Records across the globe. Produced by Ger McDonnell and recorded at Beechpark Studios with Luke Keating on vocals, Esa Taponen on guitar ,Johnny Boyle on drums and John Colbert on bass, this EP is making waves across the world, and especially at home, gaining major station play. Luke Keating is currently writing and planning on heading back into the studio after touring for a short time, this time calling the States his place to get the music heard.
