Far Away
Spring time leafing rather love you acting like a big soft cat
Blossoms falling slow on soft lit ground
Don’t know how she caught me sleeping
Earth and sky so dry and flat
Suddenly the whole thing turns around
It hits me like a gust feeling like i’m crushed
I turn to her and say what’s on my mind
She doesn’t seem surprised frowns and then she sighs
Then she says she’s left me far behind
Then I hear her say we’re so far away
We’re so far away she says
We’re so far away
Autumn is a blurry line casting summer memories
I held her hand and started going fast
I hear that we were out of time
We were running through the fields naked making angels in the grass
We’re so far away she says
We’re so far away
We’re so far away she says
We’re so far away
Winters long remains unchanged despite the years of springs to come
I lost a piece of me I can’t replace
While she wandered I remained holding on to being young
Til once again I gazed upon her face
It hits me once again same as it was then
Turning burning to the scene of the crime
I never could have dreamed she’s say those words to me
She said that she was with me all the time
Then I heard her say
We’re not far away she said
We’re not far away she said
We’re not far away she said
