Rockin' Couch Potato
My Idea of the perfect day is to stay inside
And watch grown men play with little balls
And listen to lovers lie
I can’t wait ‘til tomorrow that’s when we will find out why

I get my exercise between the kitchen and living room
I never wash or straighten up or plug in a vacuum
When everyone else is reading the news I’m watching the cartoons

I’m a couch potato, I freely admit
I’m a couch potato, and I’m darn proud of it
I’m a couch potato, I freely admit
I’m a couch potato, and I love it, I love it, I love it

All my meals are delivered in 30 minutes or less
My life is in a constant state of organized mess
I’m under doctor’s orders to reduce my level of stress

Now if I’m feeling adventurous, I’ll sit out by the pool
And rap with all the foxy chicks to let them know I’m cool
But I stay out of the water; don’t want to look like a fool

I’m a couch potato, I freely admit
I’m a couch potato, and I’m darn proud of it
I’m a couch potato, I freely admit
I’m a couch potato, and I love it, I love it, I love it

When I see runners and other fools, I think; what a stupid thing to do
They could be enjoying the TV set; instead they’re outside working up a sweat
I’m on special diet and exercise plan that calls for remaining as still as I can
And having 3 daily meals at least of Italian pie and liquid yeast

I’m a couch potato, I freely admit
I’m a couch potato, and I’m darn proud of it
I’m a couch potato, I freely admit
I’m a couch potato, and I love it, I love it, I love it
