Dreamer's Hill
I recall a part of yesterday when dreams were my best friend
I played upon the meadow where the river made its bend
And the twilight found me hypnotized by the lonesome whippoorwill
Making secret wishes from the top of Dreamer’s hill
Dreamer’s hill rises gently from the valley soft and green
While the lonesome weeping willow whispers to the passing breeze
It was there as a young boy I could make the world stand still
What peace of mind I’d find on Dreamer’s hill
Many seasons come between me and the magic of the time
As I realize tomorrows have forever passed me by
I’ve never known such peace alone and I know I never will
Till I leave this world behind me and return to Dreamer’s hill
Dreamer’s hill rises gently from the valley soft and green
While the lonesome weeping willow whispers to the passing breeze
It was there as a young boy I could make the world stand still
What peace of mind I’d find on Dreamer’s hill
Dreamer’s hill rises gently from the valley soft and green
While the lonesome weeping willow whispers to the passing breeze
It was there as a young boy I could make the world stand still
What peace of mind I’d find on Dreamer’s hill
What peace of mind I’d find on Dreamer’s hill
