Triple “Chain” award winner LIZA OHLBACK has just released her new CD “UNRAVELLING”
A mix of Soul drenched Blues, Rootsy Gospel and a touch of New Orleans Jazz, with Liza’s powerful and rich voice soaring through the styles, while weaving her stories and emotions into her unique style of uplifting Southern inspired Blues.
Coloured with funky organ, Stride piano, Trombone, Sousaphone and laced with all male “Blind boys of Alabama “style harmonies from some of the best Musicians & singers Australia has to offer including Clayton Doley on Organ (Jimmy Barnes, Harry Manx), Eric Rasmussen on guitar/vox (Heatwave) & Rick Melick keys / Hammond/vox (Jo Bonamassa, Max Meteor).
Her last album Mercy Train topped the charts in Australia and the U.S. staying for 19 months and a year, and was in the top 20 favourite artists on the U.S. roots charts for 2019 and 2020.
