John recorded this lesser-known Jimmie Rodgers song on his first solo project in 2000, and it became a childhood favorite of both Mason and Georgia. Twenty years later while driving through rural Kentucky, John and Georgia happened upon a radio broadcast of that very recording. Georgia grabbed a banjo from the backseat, and piece by piece, this arrangement fell together.
