Toot Da Flute (2:15)

A friend once asked me if I was still tootin' the flute. I said, "Yes, and I think I'll write a song about it. I'll call it 'Toot Da Flute.'" So I brought an opening theme to Jane Getz, my producer and keyboardist, and she added the bridge. It's bright and bouncy and cheery. Bassist Henry Franklin and I did a free form out-chorus at the end -- just flute and bass -- that evolved out of the recording.
