8. Rise Again

In February 2020, NASA had to issue a pubic statement regarding brooms. A viral challenge on social media was convincing the public the reason brooms could balance upright was because of a “unique gravitational pull” event happening on a specific day. The number of people we knew who were sucked into this hoax alarmed us. As the pandemic settled in and the conspiracy theories surrounding it grew, we found ourselves deeply troubled by the rise of willful, self-righteous ignorance around us.
We avoided Facebook fights and wrote this song instead.
