The late great Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame member, Glenn Sutton (one of the funniest humans I have ever known and a great friend of mine), wrote this song and gave it to me sometime circa 1994. My partner at the time, Glen Duncan, along with Lonesome Standard Time recorded a version of it, when we were recording for Sugar Hill Records. The band then consisted of Glen Duncan, the late great Butch Baldassarri, Keith Little, the late great Robin Smith and myself. I have always loved the song and just decided to give it another whirl. I love this track!
