Biography
Brisbane band Kunst feature guitarists Peter Mengede (founding member of New York's Helmet/ Handsome) and Dale Watkinson, who are joined by vocalist Jimmy Sky (Flowers for Lily, A Name Will Come), bassist Damian Burge (Bolus), and drummer Rudi Weber ( Japunga, Post Life Disorder).
Mengede's a founding and performing member of New York’s RIAA gold certified Helmet and Handsome with writing and production credits on KRS One’s RIAA gold certified I Got Next. Mengede’s played alongside Nirvana, and Rage against the Machine and toured with the Melvins, Ministry, Faith No More, The Descendents, Corrosion of Conformity, Silverchair, and others.
Kunst draw on influences influences ranging from Led Zeppelin to the Jesus Lizard in a weal of increasingly seventies inspired rock.
