I was a sinner on a long hard road, Jesus the rock that burdened my soul.
But since He saved me all my sins are gone, He is the rock that I stand on.
He is the Rock that I stand on, hewed out of the mountain, the corner stone. On calvary His love was shown, He is the rock that I stand on.
A firm foundation not sinking sand, He lifts me up on higher ground. Though my friends forsake me I’m never alone, He’s the rock I stand on.
