Well I heard an old story how a Savior came from glory, came to earth to save a sinner just like me. And the love that he offered bought me to an old alter where I prayed and asked that he would set me free
And I’ve got much more than I asked for, there’s sweet joy and peace I’ve never had before. I ‘ve got a mansion waiting for me on the other shore, yes I’ve got much more than I asked for.
On the day Jesus saved me a new life He gave me, but that was just the start of what He had in store. For each day I feel His presence He gives grace and assurance that some day I’ll reign with Him forevermore.
And I’ve got much more than I asked for, there’s sweet joy and peace I’ve never had before. I ‘ve got a mansion waiting for me on the other shore, yes I’ve got much more than I asked for.
I’ve got a mansion just over the hill top, yes I’ve got much more than I asked for.
