She flutters by, her head in the sky
She’s a vagabond
She flies alone, searching for home
She’s a renegade
Straight into the wind, she lets her heart sing
She’s a vagabond
She rides the updraft, lets out a laugh

She lights down on a daisy
They all say she’s crazy
To place all her hopes on that simplest flower
Doesn’t she know that she won’t last an hour

Swoops down to the sea, she longs to be free

And finally she lands right there near the sand

She gets caught in a shower
And happy, she dies
