Cupid Must Have Hit a Bullseye
Cupid Must Have Hit a Bullseye
by: Kevin "KC" Williams / William E. Hutchison, Jr

Verse 1
I first saw her in high school when I was hanging out with some friends.
My whole world seemed to come to a halt the day that she walked in.
With her beautiful hair, beautiful smile, and that gleam she had in her eye.
My heart exploded like fireworks, you would’ve thought it was the Fourth of July.

Chorus
Cupid must have had me in his scope, when all I could do is stare.
He must have put an arrow in his bow, and shot it in the air.
The arrow struck me so deeply; I would die if it were removed.
‘Cause Cupid must have hit a Bulls Eye when I first laid eyes on you.

Verse 2
Now I’m all grown up and wondering, why I can’t get her off my mind.
With years gone by, I still don’t know why, but she’s my special valentine.
When I sleep at night, I dream of her, hoping it would never come to an end.
So I pray someday in a special way, that our paths will cross again.

Chorus

Bridge:
Cupid must have been a hit man and took a contract out on my life,
Because the girl I use to dream about is now my loving wife.
