Old Cold Shoulder

You know I should have seen it coming
I guess I felt it for some time
It’s clear her love for me Is changing
Now she’s showing all the signs
My kiss no longer thrills her
As it did in days of old
I recognize that old cold shoulder
But it’s never felt this cold

Just this morning over coffee

Yet the message in her sad eye’s
Could still be plainly heard
I’d like to get this in the open
