Everything is Beautiful

Looking in the mirror
I couldn't help but cry
The person in my dreams last night
Was more beautiful than I

And everything around me
Seemed to say that I'm no good
I wish I could be confident
Or at least understood

So I tried to make the world
A better place to be
And sought to find some goodness
To make a part of me

I found that everything was beautiful
With a different point of view
I realized that I was beautiful
As I'm sure that you are too

So cover up your mirror
And simply close your eyes
For what's reflected all around you
Won't match the beauty inside

The world might hate my knowledge
But sure as the day will come
There will always be some beauty
Inside of everyone

Still I try to make the world
A better place to be
And I'm seeking out the goodness
To make a part of me

Now it seems everything is beautiful
That I've changed my point of view
So I wrote this song to give some of
That beauty back to you...
