(Verse)
Environmental hysteria is sweeping around the world
With unscientific radical claims, the nuts are gathering squirrels
When you read the paper, turn on the screen, their message is blaring out
Environmental hysteria is something to crow about
(Verse)
Singers once protested war, and truth would set us free
In their songs, they wrote of peace, and love, and harmony
But now, protect the orange carrot and save the Brussels sprout
They even say how to use the potty, that’s something to crow about
(Chorus)
A crow is just a useless bird, with very little to say
It sits up high upon a wire, and let’s loose everyday
If we could take all the radicals, and recycle them into trout
We’d continue to feed the world, now that’s something to crow about
(Verse)
An environmental heretic, I refer to as dim bulb,
Wants us to change our lighting habits, from winter, til the end of fall
Mercury contained neon lights to unscrew GE’s clout
But, Mercury is a poison, now that’s something to crow about
