The horizon’s got a bright red shoeshine on it
And the sun sits down there just about as long as
I’ll be standing here
And as I go I will take the softness of you
And leave you only these memories
Of the moments that we shared

I’m just a gentleman thief

I will move my steady hands around you
So slow you hardly notice that I’m
Taking all you have
But as a man must choose the road he’s given
I’m drawn by something deeper
It’s like love or gravity
