A Little More Time
A Little More Time

As the bold night steals the light of day
And the shy sun sulks, and fades away
All I want is a little more time with you
We’ve been apart enough by now
So that all I ever think about is how
To get myself a little more time with you

Just one lifetime is nowhere near enough
For me to spend with the one I love
And I hope there’s a heaven and that I get to go
So I can be with you A little more

Time slips away and it’s gone too fast
And every single day just might be the last
That’s why I always want a little more time with you

And I hope there’s a heaven
And that I get to go
So I can be with you A little more

On my final day with my last breath
I will look into the face of death
And I'll say "wait a minute!
I just need a little more time with you"
All I want is a little more time with you
