The song penned by Craig Market and Lynna describes the emotional struggles a person with depression often experience. Lynna remembers, “ I had this idea for a song based on our daughter and my mother’s struggles with depression. I saw a lot of sorrow and intimidation which my mom dealt with all of her life. Later, our daughter was also diagnosed with it. I was moved by the way she kept moving forward even though it was like climbing a mountain every day. I called Craig and explained how I wanted to write this song for all of those who have this struggle . It was important to me to let our daughter know that we understand how she feels and we support her no matter what.”

“This song is dedicated to everyone who has felt the burdens of depression and try to hide exactly what they are going though so no one will worry about them. It is also a tribute to my mom who lived with this diagnoses and still gave everything she had to raise four children.”
