Sarabande

This is from a Baroque Suite for Guitar I wrote for my father, Herbert W. Briggs, Professor of International Law at Cornell University, and a member of the committee that decided what classical performers would perform at the university. It's a distillation from a childhood saturated in his records, which he played every night as I went to sleep - especially the music of Johann Sebastian Bach.
