Biography

Jason Ninnis is a contemporary Welsh singer/songwriter, influenced by the classic songwriters and artistes of the 50s, 60s and 70s.

His passion for music first manifested itself at an early age. His first significant musical experiences came from the household record collection which was at least rich in 'golden oldies' and classic number one hits.

In his early teens Jason picked up the guitar. An instrument over which other family members had previously gained no mastery. With this knowledge in mind, he strove hard to teach himself the basics.
Later he would start to use his voice, adapting short poems he had written to make up his own songs. The years following would see him concentrate more and more on the art of lyric writing and song construction.

Since these early days Jason has acquired a wealth of knowledge regarding the vocabulary of music, having been a lead vocalist, guitarist, and lyric writer within many projects of various musical genres.

For his current project he has teamed up with the maverick musician and producer David Halling, to record his most recent compositions.
In David he has found a musical soul-mate sharing similar ideals concerning songwriting techniques and music principles.
