I'll Get To Where I'm Goin'
I'LL GET TO WHERE I'M GOIN'
(Patrick Jason Matthews/James Allen Otto)

I've fought on mean streets and walked down Main Street
And I've been down some dead end roads
I've driven highways and gone the wrong way
Just so I could find out where it goes
And I've chased white lines and I've run stop signs
And I've blown from town to town just like a stray
But I'll get to where I'm goin'
I'll get to where I'm goin' someday

I've pulled all-nighters and worn out lighters
Racking up my share of Marlboro miles
I've taken uppers and I've taken downers
But I still ain't found a drug quite like your smile
And I hated leaving but I had this feeling
Like a restless wind was blowing me away
But I'll get to where I'm goin'
I'll get to where I'm goin' someday

I've got some regrets and I've made some bad bets
This rambling life's a damn hard row to hoe
I pray that I'll find peace of mind
At the end of the road

My clothes are tattered, my thoughts are scattered
And it's hard to keep this Harley pointed straight
But I'll get to where I'm goin'
I'll get to where I'm goin' someday
