Looking tenderly down at his new iphone.

See the young girl sitting across the way

hugging her Android looking so alone.

In a minute I suppose, he will send her a text message and propose.

It’s not my imagination our communication has gone to hell.

I suggest that we should talk you say

you need a walk I should text you or email.

How hard can it be? Look me in the eyes and talk to me.

I went to visit with a family

There was a daughter and a son and a mom and dad,

One was playing games on the tv

One was on her mobile, two on their new ipads.

They are aware I assume

That I’m standing there right with them in the same room.

I would like to look you in the eyes and tell you some things.

That’s the only way I’ll realize exactly what you’re feeling.

I say I would like to talk to

you so that we don’t misunderstand

Get totally out of hand
