GOD THANKS FOR MY MAMA

I remember all the good times and bad ones too
In all our lives there are problems still we make it thru
What made the problems easier though they're still there
My mama gave'm all to Jesus it made it easier for her to bear
I remember the first day my very first day at school
I was nervous I was shaky I didn't know what to do
Mama bent down looked at me and said it will be okay
We strutted off down the hall to class
I made thru my very first day

God thanks for my mama
She was just like an angel to me

She was the best thing that ever happened to me

That's not to say we had our way
Mama didn't go for that no
When she gave you a chore to do that was the end of that
She didn't believe in sparing the rod though she loved us so
Thank you God for my mama the sweet woman any child could know
