When I Step Out

I'm just a pilgrim in this land
seeking for that shining strand
Entered here by the carnal man
On holy hills some day I'll stand

When I step out this body of clay
and I see Jesus on that day
Love ones there are home to stay
and God will wipe my tears away.

This body here that I live in
just can't go because of sin
I know these scales that hide my sight
will someday fall from my eyes.
