I don’t mind wearing second hand shoes
I don’t mind having nothing to lose.
If I’ve got no money I really don’t care
But I never want to lose my savoir faire.

I don’t want to live, I don’t want to live a second hand life
I don’t want to live in a second hand world.

I don’t know why we hang around here.
It might be love but might be fear
Or some old dream or memory.
It might be you but it could be me.

Some people make it and some people don’t.
Some guys fake it and some guys won’t.
If you ask my opinion you got just one chance
To really get moving or spend your life in a trance
